"Air and love"
An inexhaustible, ever-present theme that has left wonderful sounding traces in the history of music. And of course it is about great emotions - then as now. Popular melodies from the Renaissance to the Baroque tell of consuming devotion, of separation and reunion, jealousy and vows of fidelity, of ardent passion and deadly strength. Folk melodies from Turkey and chansons by Kurt Weill also express everything that fills the heart.
Flautando Köln sweeps the dust from the centuries-old scores with an almost infectious liveliness. Over 30 different recorders are used in their exciting sound-colour experiments. Highest precision and an astonishingly homogeneous, sometimes organ-like sound are the trademarks of the four excellent wind players, who always surprise with unusual performance concepts. In this context, a singing recorder player is certainly one of the special features of the charming formation from Cologne and - how could it be otherwise - she also speaks of love.
