Anyone who combines recorders with baroque music alone should be surprised by Flautando Köln. With great sense of style and imagination, they arrange works of all eras for their cast, which not only boasts more than 40 recorders of various sizes and designs, but also sounds another facet with the much acclaimed soprano voice of Ursula Thelen. In addition, charming presentations make the concerts into an atmospheric and intoxicating overall experience in which virtuosity is a matter of course, but never an end in itself.
