35 years of Flautando Köln – time to celebrate!
With our traditional birthday concert on 9 May 2026, we would like to celebrate our 35th stage anniversary together with our audience at the Lutherkirche in Cologne-Südstadt.
At 11:00 a.m. we warmly invite you to a festive concert followed by a convivial gathering – a chance to remember, marvel and celebrate together.
For 35 years, Flautando Köln has stood for joy in playing, a rich variety of sound and curious, exploratory music-making. Our anniversary programme looks back on special moments in the ensemble’s history, and also includes a world premiere.
A special highlight of the anniversary is the presentation of our new CD “Licht und Finsternis”: freshly released – and available for the first time at the concert.
The concert features excerpts from the programme of the same name, which we developed together with Holger Schäfer, harpist, singer and storyteller. In it, words and music are woven into a poetic search for the mysterious realm between darkness and light.
Also joining us as a musical companion is Torsten Müller on drums and percussion – a familiar, inspiring partner since our very first concerts.
The concert is donation-based; admission is free. Come celebrate sound, passion and zest for life with us – 35 years of Flautando Köln!
